The specificity of learning the content of professional competence of the future music and choreography teachers

Abstract

The article considers specificity of learning the content of professional competence of the future music and choreography teachers using the Information-Communication Technology. Based on the semantic analysis of such terms as “learning”, “content of the education” the essence of the concept “learning of the content of professional competence of the future music and choreography teachers” is defined. We understand this concept as a process of acquisition of performing (musical / choreographic) experience by students, which includes the system of the performing  (musical, choreographic), pedagogical and psychological knowledge, the provisions on the personal and professional qualities of the music and choreography teachers, the ways and experience of implementation of the their professional activities (musical-performance, chorographical, pedagogical), and also the experience of creative performance activity and emotional-valuable attitude of the students to the musical and choreographic art. The component of this concept is characterized. Based on interdisciplinary nature of knowledge on the professional competence of future music and choreography teachers, it is proposed to create a unified educational environment, which will contain the necessary materials. For this purpose, the electronic manual (e-manual) on the formation of the professional competence of the future music and choreography teachers was developed. That manual includes the block of organization of learning and consolidation of educational material by students and block of quality control of the acquired knowledge. The implementation of the e-manual was carried out on the Moodle platform as it provides the teacher with the ability to use such interactive elements as “Test”, “Task”, “Workbook”, “Forum”, “Poll”, “Glossary”, “Lecture”, “Questionnaires”, “Seminar”, etc. Therefore, the specificity of learning the content of the professional competence of the future music and choreography teachers is to provide students with performing experience (the system of performing, pedagogical, psychological information about personal and professional qualities, the ways of performing activities; the experience performing creative activities and emotional-valuable attitude to music and choreographic art), that is performed through the application of electronic manual in the educational process. The implementation of the electronic manual in the educational process, its impact on the professional competence of future teachers of music and choreography is promising for further research.
