FORMATION OF THE KINESIOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS IN THE PROCESS OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS ACTIVITIES

Abstract

The analysis of the data of modern scientific literature on the problem of the formation of the kinesiological competence of university students is carried out. It is shown that a significant proportion of students have a chronic lack of motor activity. Habitual hypokinesia subsequently arises, underestimating the significance of physicality in vital activity and the inadequate kinesiological competence of students. The result of this state of physical education system is a low level of need for a healthy lifestyle of students. It has been established that the effective use of improving the physical and functional fitness of students has the regular use of the “health triad” exercises by S. M. Bubnovsky, including pushups, squats and exercises for the abdominals in combination with diaphragmatic breathing and stretching. It has been proven that the use of the “triad of health” by S. M. Bubnovsky ensures optimal motor activity of the three “floors” of the body and is an important potential reserve in the formation of the kinesiological competence in physical education and sports activities of a higher educational institution.
