The special role in the process of professional preparation of future specialist is taken to forming of research competence, that provides preparation of high-professional creative personality apt at an effective experience and professional activity. For this reason the system of higher education today must be aimed at forming not simply of professional-performer, but professional-researcher, capable it easily to adapt oneself to the quickly changeable terms, find the decision of nascent problems through possessing research abilities. Basis of research activity fold ability to find out a problem, formulate a hypothesis, carry out a selection and analysis of necessary data for research, to pick up the corresponding methods of realization of research and processing of data, to fix the intermediate and final results of research, conduct discussions and interpretation of research results, use them in practice. We consider that leading descriptions of research competence are capacities of personality for the system thinking, independent acquisition of knowledge and application of them in practice, самоорганізації, self-examination and reflection, acceptance of responsible decisions, to the collaboration and tolerance. These capabilities can be realized in independent дослідницькій activity that is basis of forming of research competence of students and comes forward as the special attitude of subject toward social experience. Basic directions of organization of reseach activity is a system construction of theoretical and practical professional courses on the basis of decision of problem tasks of research character with the aim of forming of research competence for students; independent realization of researches by students with the aim of working off both educational-cognitive, intellectual and practical research abilities that form the взаємопов'язану system. A research competence is base for forming of professional competence.
